Experience zero gravity with a team of trained instructors and dive buddies. This free event is for anyone (age 10 and up) with a disability to try SCUBA Experience.

At a DSE participants will watch a short video about scuba diving, be fitted into gear, learn a few basics skills, take that first memorable breath underwater and drop down into the weightless feeling of scuba diving. All with help and guidance of instructors and trained buddy divers.

Our primary focus is to help those with physical challenges such as amputees, paraplegics, and quadriplegics as well as people with cognitive conditions including PTSD and autism. Scuba brings both physical and psychological therapeutic value to a person. From the simple calming aspects for those suffering from PTSD, to some pain relief from the weightless environment. We believe that most everyone is able bodied in the water; it is just a matter to what ability.
