A Life Changing Combination, Adaptive Divers and Dive Buddies

Dale and Garth training with Dave in the pool.

We Are All the Same Underwater

When divers are in the water, pool or ocean, they are eye to eye. Its unnatural for all humans to breath underwater, in this way we are all equal. After the diving experience fish stories are shared building a life time of memories.

Dive instructors and dive buddies help adaptive divers learn and execute scuba diving. What they don’t always realize is that they are…

  • Changing how they see themselves

  • Offer pain relief

  • Build life long friendships

  • Providing a place of inclusiveness

  • Breaking social barriers

For the Adaptive divers many experience pain relief for hours, days and for some weeks. They also identify themselves as scuba divers. About 1% of all people are scuba divers making them part of an elite group.

Dive buddies experience the joy sharing something they love. They learn how fragile and resilient life is. They learn that deep down we are all the same.
