Most of my adult life has been spent in teaching. I started as a diesel mechanic but within a few years I started teaching at a local community college. Next I found myself teaching working mechanics on an industry level. After years of teaching and developing training I learned to scuba dive so it was a natural transition to start teaching. I did this in addition to working full time. Once I know I was going to pursue adaptive diving I knew I needed to start my own dive shop and build an indoor pool. Thats how it all got started.

Safety first has always been a personal modo which stems from years of service at my local volunteer fire department where I spent over 20 years helping my community. I served on roles from firefighter, first responder and lieutenant.

Why adaptive diving

Blending my three loves, teaching, safety and helping others adaptive diving was also a natural fit. It has been the most rewarding experience especially when our divers find pain relief. The above water experiences are just as important when we all sit around a camp fire or a dinner table exchanging stories I see it all come together. We truly are all the same despite our differences.
